Bangladesh, a company with a net worth of $11 million, was looking for an opportunity to make a quantum leap in its profile. This was an exceptional transaction that saw Standard Chartered Bank takes an exposure of $70 million on a Bangladeshi owner-operated company with annual turnover of $28 million.
